God Looks at the Heart

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” - 1 Samuel 16:7 God looks on the thoughts and intents of the heart, not the holy way you present yourself to others. When your life is over and you stand before God, it will not matter how well you pretended to be a Christian. Live for God not for the spiritual approval of man.
