ABOUT US
“Victory Kitchen” is changing the community one meal at a time!
We are a 501c-3 nonprofit organization locally owned and operated, founded in God, to meet the ever growing need in our community. We are an organization that reaches the homeless, the battered, the infants, the broken families, and the helpless children.
We have seen lives restored, children reunited with their families, and addictions broken.
We are open year round Monday- Friday, 9a-3p.
We serve a full course breakfast and lunch, open pantry, holiday meals, holiday gifts, food bags etc.
There are no requirements, questions asked, or judgment towards those who need help.
The reality of food and financial insecurities can fall upon anyone at any time.
To watch a family, get back on their feet by the grace and mercy of God is a feeling that cannot be described.
Since opening in 1991, we have seen well over ONE MILLION plates of food served.
Since opening in 2016, we have seen over 2,000 people rehabilitated
and able to gain employment through our “Victory Shower” program.
Our hope is to not only help supply, but to see a change of life.
In addition to our hot meals, open pantry & showers we are blessed to help in others ways as well. A few of these events are:
VK Coat Shop - stocked full of coats, hats, gloves, clothing, household items, shoes, etc.
VK School Shop - students can come in with their supply lists and shop for every thing they need to start the year off right
VK Thanksgiving Dinner Bags - equipped with everything they will need to make a nice holiday dinner
VK Easter Baskets - what better way to celebrate our Savior than to share His love with a basket full of candy and goodies!!
NOW, for our absolute FAVORITE event 🥁
VK Shoebox Christmas - 33 yrs of God blessing local children with a huge bag FULL of gifts, toys, blanket & goodies galore
In addition to these programs, we offer free counseling, application assistance and an independent community resource kiosk. We have seen a remarkable rehabilitation rate for those that have taken advantage of our programs.
Our facility IS NOT government funded.
It is by the grace of God and the generosity of our community that we can continue this mission.
Your help allows us to put back into our community by making sure everyone has food to eat, holiday assistance,
a safe place to take a hot shower, personal development resources, and a safe refuge.
Your giving gives us the ability to help single mothers, desperate fathers, and overwhelmed grandparents.
Our hope is to help those with in our own community find relief and restore confidence back into the homes
knowing that they can do “all things through Christ who strengthens us” (Phil 4:13).
I recall this past Christmas; we had an overwhelming line of parents waiting for Christmas presents for their children.
In addition to the gifts that were being handed out, we were blessed to hand out gift cards to a local grocery store.
The surprised look & tears that ran down the parents faces as they received this support was heart wrenching.
They replied with, “We had no Christmas, we had no food, but now God has made a way."
Your support is helping us in our fight to defeat desperation and expand our mission as the need continues to grow.
Together, we can make a difference in this world.
