About

ABOUT US

“Victory Kitchen”, changing the community one meal at a time. We are a nonprofit organization that reaches the homeless, the battered, the infants, the broken families, and the helpless children. We have seen lives restored, children reunited with their families, and addictions broken. There are no requirements, questions asked, or judgment for who needs help. The reality of a desperate time can fall upon anyone at any time. To watch a family, get back on their feet by the grace and mercy of God is a feeling that can not be described. In our 30 years we have seen close to one million plates of food served. Full course breakfast and lunch, groceries, holiday meals, holiday gifts, food bags etc. We have also seen over 1,000 people rehabilitated and able to gain employment through our “Victory Shower” program. Our hope is to not only help supply but to see a change of life.

We are a 501c-3 non-profit organization. A “Free Hot Meals” program serving Monday through Friday. During the winter months those in need are given blankets, coats, hats, and gloves. We do our best to supply all the children with school supplies and the appropriate winter whether attire to relieve the burden of additional costs on the families. Our showers are open 3 days a week and each person given all the necessary toiletry items needed. In addition to our other programs, we offer free counseling and assistance in completing applications for employment and various community assistance opportunities. We have seen a remarkable rehabilitation rate for those that have taken advantage of our programs. Our facility is not government funded.

Our facility IS NOT government funded. It is by the grace of God and the generosity of our community that we can continue this mission. Your help allows us to put back into the community by making sure children have Christmas, food to eat and a safe refuge. The ability to help single mothers, desperate fathers, and overwhelmed grandparents. To help those mentioned find relief and restore confidence back into the homes knowing that they can do “all things through Christ who strengthens us” (Phil 4:13). I recall this past Christmas; we had an overwhelming line of parents waiting for Christmas presents for their children. As the presents were being handed out, we were blessed to be able to hand out gift cards as well to a local grocery store. The surprised look and tears that ran down the parents faces as they received was heart wrenching. They replied with; “we had no Christmas; we had no food but now God has made a way”. Your support will help defeat desperation in these family’s lives and expand our mission as the need continues to grow. Together, we can make a difference in this world.
